Me and some of the boys were sitting around the other night
Started talking about politics, religion, love and life
And what a shame it was about 9/11
And what about hell and what about heaven

And is there or isn't there angels on earth
And then one guy said
Well you can take that for what it's worth
If it's something I can see or something I can touch
Well I might believe in all that stuff
So I just had to say to him
Are you telling me that you've never seen an angel?
Never felt the presence of one standing by?
No robe of white
No halo in site
Well you missed the most obvious thing
Man, are you blind?
Just look in your mothers eyes

And then I said who went through the pain
And smiled through the tears on the day of your birth?
She counted your fingers and toes and thank god you were whole
Son you outta know who loved you first, that's right
And who always came running everytime you cried out
And how many more things have you forgotten about
And who tried their best to teach you wrong from right
And how many nights did she leave on the light
While she waited and prayed that you came in
And who'd be there for you right up to the end
Think about it tonight

Are you telling me that you've never seen an angel?
Never felt the presence of one standing by?
No robe of white
No halo in site
Well you missed the most obvious thing
Aww Man, are you blind?
Just look in your mothers eyes

Aww Man, are you blind?
Just look in your mothers eyes
That's right

Lainie,
How do you say good-bye to someone that has
been apart of your life for 18 years. I catch myself picking
up the phone, to dial your number, only to realize, heaven
has no phone service. Then for just a minute I shed one tear.
I don't know if you realize how many people loved you.
Not just your family, not just in the flesh but those across
the infinate space called the internet. There are so many
that have not said good-bye yet.
So my friend, my sister, I will not say good-bye. For you are
still with me, and all who knew you. You will always be in
our hearts and spirit. Because I know that is where you hold
us all too.
You fought the long battle honey, and even to the end, it was
all of us that you were thinking about. Not wanting us to come
and see you, and the pain you were in. Never complaining from
pain that you fought for so many years from within..
Even to the end, you were thinking of all that you love.
Now I find comfort that you are looking out for us up above.
You Cross over that Bridge, to the loving arms of those waiting
to greet you..

Until we meet again, you kiss and hug all our sisters that went
before you, tell them that they are thought of and are still loved.
You my friend, your time here is spent. And never forgotten for
for one second.
We love you and miss you more..
Helen, your Cottage sisters, and all who knew you..

Please sign the guest book, leave a message that
you were here.. Thank You .. Helen
